Tribe's fiftieth release, and it's the label's founder, Zepherin Saint at the controls, inviting Mr V to bring his inimitable vocal delivery to 'Dance Release'.
I'd wanted to do a track with Mr V for a long time', says Saint. 'One of my favourite tracks is his "Just Dance" from 2009, and I wanted to do a record that was like a sequel to that.' So Saint asked Mr V to speak to the dancefloor about dancing, something Mr V knows a lot about. 'He sent it over,' says Saint, and it was just perfect for what I wanted to do, which was to back it with a middle eastern khalegi rhythm and give the track an Afro-house vibe and I wanted David Morales to create a track that could hit hard on his dance floor and he did just that!'.
